Cancun and Cozumel are well known destinations for cruises and all-inclusive beach side resorts. The entire peninsula is also very budget friendly, and anyone on almost any budget can travel here and have a great time. 

Learn a little bit of Spanish before you go, or try while you're there. It goes a long way.
